Growin in the depths

Of the murky waters

Laid a tiny seed

No one knew the

Seed was there

No one knew

“life for me

Aint no crystal stair”

Imagine being hidden

Due to your surroundings

Unknown of the necessary

Boundaries

Trusting the wait

Knowing everything

Will be ok

Embracing the uncertainty

Enjoyin the uncertainty

Enjoyn the BEYOUTY

Of becoming

Rememberin the times

When I made myself

Smaller

Jus so others could

Seem big

I stood n

the shadows

Covered my face

and Hid

Didnt fit n

Only needed my

Own ACCEPTANCE

Silenced my voice

Took on the labels

That family and society

Forced

Didnt speak up

Held on to the

Opinions of every

One else

Then one day

I desired a change

And people noticed

Said that i was

Strange

They looked with

Admiration and

Tears in their eyes

Stared with amazement

Shocked to their

Surprise

I was NO LONGER

The person

That they once knew

This person they saw
